Description
This company consists of two properties: one is located on via Anagnina, (Villa Senni) near the archaeological site of the Catacombs “Ad decimum”. This is a very interesting place with caves built during the 1st century BC. The other one is located in the Valle Marciana, with a wonderful panorama dominating the vineyards, at the slopes of the San Nilo Abbey and of the Savelli Palace. The cellar where visitors are received consists of a show room and a selling point where it is possible to buy different types of packages. The cave excavated in the rock and reaching a depth of 12 metres is used to store wines at a constant and appropriate temperature. It is typically composed by a central room with several branched areas and niches. the free tasting takes place in this cave, where there are chestnuts – barrels, which where used frequently in the past.
Among the wines produced by this company there is a Frascati superiore and a Cannellino obtained by an 80-year-old vineyard belonging to the property located in the Valle Marciana, where the particular position enables the production of local wines. It is also possible to buy small quantities of olive oil.
Near the cellar there is a parking area able to host only one coach.
